Oppo has officially launched its new F35 and F35 Pro 5G smartphones in India, bringing major upgrades in battery capacity, selfie photography, performance and durability. The new F35 series arrives as Oppo’s F Series celebrates its 10th anniversary in India.
The biggest highlights are the huge 8,000mAh batteries and 50MP ultra-wide selfie cameras featured on both models. Oppo is positioning the phones as “Group Selfie Experts,” with a 100-degree field of view designed to fit more people into a single shot.
The Oppo F35 Pro 5G is the more powerful model in the lineup. It features a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The panel also supports 10-bit colors and full DCI-P3 coverage.
Under the hood, the F35 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX processor. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, giving it a significant performance and storage advantage over the standard F35.
Photography is another major focus. The phone has a 50MP main rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP front camera. The front camera features a 100-degree field of view and autofocus, making it particularly suitable for group selfies.
The F35 Pro can also record 4K video at 30fps from both its front and rear cameras, a major improvement over the previous generation.
The standard Oppo F35 5G keeps things slightly more modest while retaining some of the series’ headline features.
It comes with a 6.57-inch OLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate, along with 10-bit color support. The phone is powered by the Dimensity 6360 MAX chipset and is available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
On the back, the F35 features a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. However, the phone shares the Pro model’s impressive 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with autofocus and a 100-degree field of view.
Battery life is arguably the biggest upgrade across the new lineup. Both the F35 and F35 Pro pack an 8,000mAh battery, which is 1,000mAh larger than the batteries used in the previous F33 series.
Both phones also support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, while USB PPS charging is supported at up to 55W. The combination of a large battery and fast charging should make the F35 series appealing to users who spend long hours streaming videos, gaming or using social media.
Oppo is also highlighting long-term battery durability, advertising its 8,000mAh battery as a six-year durable battery.
Durability is another key part of the F35 series. The phones feature strong water and dust resistance, with Oppo highlighting IP69K protection on the new models.
The F35 and F35 Pro are offered in different finishes and color options, giving buyers several choices depending on the model they prefer.
The Oppo F35 series has launched in India, with sales scheduled to begin on October 11, 2026 through Oppo’s online store, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retailers.
The reported Indian prices are:
The F35 series brings an interesting combination of a massive battery and high-resolution selfie cameras. While the standard F35 focuses on value, the Pro model adds a faster display, stronger chipset, better storage and a more capable rear camera system.
For selfie enthusiasts and users who prioritize long battery life, the new F35 series could become one of Oppo’s more interesting mid-range smartphone launches of 2026.
